CENTENNIAL BIKE PARADE and more on june 11
Before the parade through town began, free bike bells were installed on handlebars and decorations were added to bikes. Free hot dog lunches were served on Centennial frisbees afterward. Old-time kids' games attracted a lot of attention, and a photo booth gave everyone an opportunity to be silly in front of the camera. Band concerts and speeches by dignitaries were also featured. Birthday cupcakes were served from an elegant cupcake tower in the patio, and a big group photo was taken of everyone who was at the festivities.

Those who don't ride bikes themselves could get a lift from Cheryl Longinotti on her trishaw, 'Gertrude', which shuttled folks, young and old, at Corte Madera's Centennial Celebration. Cheryl said, "I bet we have the record for the biggest age range in passengers, from Pauline at 107 and Dylan at 9 or 10."
